About Amberlea Meadows: Boarding

We are very proud of the level of Boarding service that we provide to our clients. Our board rate includes daily turnout provided the weather allows, daily cleaning of the stall, individual feeding of hay, grain and supplements, use of wash racks, a tack locker and use of all riding areas. Additional services such as blankets, boot/ wrap service, private pens are provided at a nominal cost.

Horses can be bedded on either straw or shavings. Individually tailored feeding programs are made for each horse so as to maximize health and physical condition.

Our clients may ask to have their horse’s feed increased or decreased at any time provided that these changes do not adversely affect the horses’ health. Any requests for any special feeds or vitamins can be made, however an additional charge may apply for these feeds.

Boarding at Amberlea might also include a visit from your horses Farrier for trimming or shoeing services. Also, our scheduled veterinary call for routine vaccinations, which we most recently vaccinated against West Nile. We also de-worm each horse, every third month to ensure they are parasite free. All of these items are necessary extras, which will be billed to your account for your convenience.
