Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we hear....

Q. How far is Amberlea from Edmonton?

Answer:

We are approximately 15 minutes South and 5 minutes West driving distance from the South Side of Edmonton and about 45 minutes to Edmonton downtown, please see Directions.

Q.  What kind of riding disciplines do you specialize in?           

Answer:

We offer lessons in all of the following disciplines - Dressage, Equitation, Hunter, and Jumper. Please see Lessons

Q. Do I need to bring my horses bedding and hay when I come to Amberlea Meadows for a show?

Answer:

 

During a show at Amberlea Meadows

we will provide you with your first nights bedding, after that you may purchase straw or shavings from us at a nominal cost. This you can arrange with the office upon arrival.  Hay is also available for purchase however, we advise you to remember to bring your own feed as this is what your horse is used to. Changing feed during a horse show may not be a great idea.

 

 

 

Q. I own a young horse and need help with the breaking and training, can Amberlea Meadows help me?

Answer:

Amberlea Meadows has assisted with many amateur horse enthusiasts to get their young 3 and 4 year old horses "started". We would be delighted to meet with you and discuss your goals, and then establish a training and conditioning program that suits you and your horse
