Short Description: 

Firecracker is an amazing horse at 8 years old! He has competed in derbies (jumps all naturals – water, dike, ditches, high and low banks).  His scope on the line is unlimited.  Firecracker is “very” brave & wins his speeds in the ring.  In 2005, Firecracker was a solid 1^st to 3^rd competitor in various horse shows in the 1.15 to 1.2 M Divisions.  At Amberlea and River Valley Horse Shows he won the 1.15 M Speeds and was Reserve Champion.

In 2006, Firecracker maintained his status at 1.2 M winning top ribbons and moved up to 1.25 M at Spruce Meadows to produce a top ten performance.

In 2007, Firecracker proved once again to please us as he moved up to the 1.3 M division at Spruce Meadows.  In July, he was 2^nd in the Jaguar Land Rover 1.3 M Grand Prix at Amberlea Meadows Jump Hope Show and 3^rd in the 1.4 M Cat The Rental Store Grand Prix.  He was Reserve Champion at the same show in the 1.2M Division and brought home over $3,000 in prize money!

Firecracker is also ½ leased currently to 17 year old Courtney Ledden and was 2^nd in the $5,000 1.0M Speed Class at the Amberlea Jump with Hope Show and has been in the top five in the 3’0” Jumper Medals with Courtney.  She is now slated in the top 3 for the Year End Amberlea Meadows Jumper Medal Cash Award.

Grand Prix talent is evident in this boy – the bigger the jump the harder he tries!  If you want a horse you can rely on to take a Junior around the ring or you want to test yourself at 1.3M and up then this is the horse for you.  Firecracker can be tried at Amberlea Meadows in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
