1.      Beginner Camp- With an emphasis on the fun side of riding. Learning the basics both on and off of the horse.

Date:   July 4-8, 2011

                                                                        Cost:    $367.50 includes GST

 

2        Adult Camp- With an emphasis on the fun side of riding. Learning the basics both on and off of the horse.

                                                                        Date:   July 11-14, 2011 - Sorry this camp is FULL

                                                                        Cost:    $367.50 includes GST

 

3        Beginner Camp- With an emphasis on the fun side of riding. Learning the basics both on and off of the horse.

Date:   July 18-22, 2011

Cost:    $367.50 includes GST

 

4        Novice Camp- For the rider who wishes to improve their dressage riding skills /& learn basic jumping skills.

Date:   August 15-19, 2011

Cost:    $367.50 includes GST

 

5        Beginner Camp- With an emphasis on the fun side of riding. Learning the basics both on and off of the horse.

                                                                        Date:   August 22-26, 2011 - Sorry this camp is FULL

Cost:    $367.50 includes GST

 

 

-          All of the above prices include GST.

-          Completed registration form accompanied by a cheque made payable to Amberlea Meadows

           will ensure confirmation of preferred dates.

-          Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

-          Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Participants are to provide their own lunch.

-          Parents are invited to the last day of camp week to a performance of riding skills.

OBJECTIVES:

Our objectives are to give people with an interest in horses the opportunity to increase their knowledge of

horses and to improve their riding skills. The emphasis is on fun and learning.

 

PROGRAM:

  •  Beginner to more advanced levels of riding, games on horseback, free riding time, preparation of horse and rider for competition are offered.

  •  Practical and theoretical stable management including care of the horse, stables and tack.

  •  Lectures and practical- feeding, minor ailments, conformation etc.
