It was near perfect
weather for this 1st of the season outdoor Dressage Show. We had
over 45 riders entered to compete up to First Level, with many
riding a dressage test in a show for the first time. Most
went home very satisfied with their scores believing that
all the winter training and hard work had finally paid off!
Congratulations to all competitors...great scores!
The EAADA held the second
part of a two part Judges and Scribes Clinic during the show,
which was well attended.
The last class of the day
was an exciting one, especially for the horses, Prix Caprilli
which includes dressage and a jumping combination judged as a
dressage test. Prix Caprilli is often offered at Dressage shows,
though not many are brave enough to enter. However, at this show
the Prix-Caprilli class was very well ridden by seven riders, a
super day!
How many riders do you
recognize?
